About Us

The White Lake Dock & Dredge team was founded in 2002 and since that time has established a reputation as a premiere environmental dredging, sediment capping, and marine contractor. Our core team has over 100 years of combined environmental dredging, sediment capping, and marine construction experience.

SENIOR PROJECT DIRECTOR

Eric Bowman

Eric brings 38 years of environmental remediation experience to White Lake. He has served in a tremendous variety of roles throughout his career, including laborer, foreman, geologist, environmental technician, site superintendent, project manager, and federal programs manager overseeing multiyear, indefinite-delivery-indefinite-quantity contracts. He is primarily responsible for proposal writing, regulatory review, contracts management, and business capture strategy, as well as leveraging his invaluable breadth of experience to mentor junior and senior personnel alike.
SENIOR OPERATIONS MANAGER

Jeremy Bernhardt

Having worked in the industry since 1993, Jeremy offers extensive knowledge and leadership experience in the areas of construction and environmental dredging and remediation. He is specially trained as an RTK-GPS operator and NCCCO certified crane operator. Some of Jeremy’s credentials include TSA’s Transportation Working Identification Card, Merchant Mariner, Master of Steam or Motor Vessels — 100 Ton with commercial towing assistance, State of Michigan Certified Aggregate Technician, and Class A commercial driver’s license.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Devon Draper

Devon brings years of marine construction, environmental remediation, engineering and project management experience to the White Lake team that dates back to 1989. Devon is a licensed professional engineer, holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Civil Engineering, offering a broad experience in civil, solid waste, and sediment remediation.

PROJECT MANAGER, FINANCIAL MANAGER, HEALTH & SAFETY

Ben Gezon

Ben has overseen large environmental dredging, navigational dredging, and cap installation projects throughout the Great Lakes Region ranging in size from $1MM to $11MM. He is primarily responsible for all areas of project management, implementing construction QA/QC and Health and Safety programs, and overseeing company financials. Ben holds a Bachelors of Science and Engineering degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.

HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEYING & QA/QC

Matt Moss

Matt is a trained Hydrographic Surveyor with extensive experience with various multi-beam and single-beam survey techniques and equipment. Matt is primarily responsible for conducting all hydrographic surveys and implementing construction QA/QC programs. He has extensive experience with cutting edge survey and machine control equipment / software including ASVs (autonomous surface vehicles).

SENIOR FINANCIAL MANAGER

Bob Gezon

With experience in business management, marine construction, and property development dating back to 1978, Bob assists the White Lake management team with unparalleled expertise in the marine industry and as well as all facets of business and financial management. As the founder and owner of White Lake Dock & Dredge, he remains passionate about the industry after many years.
